Examinations

Every college or school today depends on examinations to measure the performance of the students. There are two views, one supports banning exams and the other thinks exams are good.
Examinations make students nervous, they feel stressed about taking the exams which make them lose marks and do not do well. It’s also unfair way to assess knowledge considering that the exams for all the year are in one or two week each exam follow the other day by day, That’s why student feel nervous, this is why most of the people want home work and the all year work counted to pass the year this is the way to assess student progress because it’s better to do things counted as marks to pass when you are not under pressure. Most of the people who agree that say this will affect all the career life for the students in the future

On the other hand, exams are good incentive for students to study and review course materials. It helps them to work hard and study well. They are a fair assessment because the same test is used for all students and that shows the fair view for examinations. Also, exams help students to know what they understand and don’t understand of the course content, so they can go back and make sure they understand the material.

Overall, in my opinion both views have good points and I think I will take good points from the both views. The main point is we should make a mix between these good points and make sure we assign marks in a fair way.

1. Argument essay.

1. Argument essay.

Have you ever considered the fact that every year millions of animals undergo painful death as a result of scientific research? While most people think animal testing is necessary, others are upset by what they see as needless suffering. This essay outlines some of the arguments for and against animal testing.
First, let’s look at the advantages. One very positive point is that many medical treatments and procedures have been developed from such experiments. Since animals share many features with humans, scientists use animals to test the safety and effectiveness of newly developed drugs. Moreover, there is a large supply of animals. Some, such as mice and rats, have many babies, and there is no danger of extinction for these species. Finally some advocates think that animals are less valuable than people. If there is a mistake, it will not cost a human life.
However there are also a number of arguments against animal testing. Perhaps the most important is that animals may be suffering unnecessarily. Critics do not believe that every new drug needs to be tested on animals. Furthermore, some feel animal testing is ineffective; they point out that many drugs still have to be withdrawn from the market despite extensive testing. Last, some campaigners would like to see alternative used. They feel more humane testing is possible and, too, that we could rely more on organ donors.
To conclude, we need to ensure that animals used for experimental purposes do not suffer much pain. Although some animal testing may be unavoidable at present, treating our fellow creatures mercifully will demonstrate our humanity.

Problem and solution in Abu Dhabi

Nowadays most of the cities in the world are facing many problems like traffic, parking, higher rents new construction and pollution. Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, is one of the most modern cities in the world and it is facing problems of traffic and higher rents.
The first most serious problem is traffic. Many drivers spend hours stuck in traffic every day because there are too many cars in Abu Dhabi and less parking. The main reason for this problem are grow in population and younger drivers and it is common the number of the car increasing day by day. One solution to this problem might be to raise the car price and the people will use taxi and public bus services. The government of Abu Dhabi could also consider from now to build underground railways service before the problem becomes worst.
A further problem facing Abu Dhabi these days is high rents. Because of a growth in population and as result of more demand and less availability in houses and it is common when the demand more than availability the price will increase automatically. One solution to this problem might be to build more houses and buildings. This solution will bring the rents down. Another possible solution would be for the government to control the house rents in Abu Dhabi and be strict with people who are trying to increase house rents.
Overall, some people are greedy, they think about their benefit only, not about how to solve the country problems. However, the UAE government is trying to do something to solve this problem and I am shore they will solve it very soon.
